Dave brings practical, real-world experience into the classroom. His approach is built around a simple belief: leadership isn't defined by a title; it's demonstrated through our actions, relationships, and the culture we create. From Principles to Performance challenges leaders to move beyond simply identifying their values and begin living them as verbs. Through practical leadership principles, real-world experiences, and proven tools, participants examine how trust, communication, emotional intelligence, accountability, and organizational clarity shape healthy teams and strong cultures.
But the training doesn't begin when we walk into the classroom. It begins with understanding your organization. Dave works with executive leadership in advance to understand the organization's mission, values, culture, challenges, and desired outcomes. This ensures the training is aligned with where the organization is and where its leaders want it to go.
Through his Seeds in Action exercises, Dave then brings those values into the room, helping participants move from words on a wall to behaviors they can see, practice, and reinforce. The goal is more than a good day of training. It is to create clarity of vision, alignment around shared values, and practical leadership behaviors that continue long after the class ends.
